Rapid Rescoring

USUALLY NOT WORTH IT (for consumers)

What it is. A paid service (usually arranged through a lender) to push recent changes onto your report faster.

Why it's usually not worth it. It's meant for borrowers mid-mortgage with a verified correction to expedite — not a general score booster, and the effect is only as good as the underlying change. For most people rebuilding, it's money better spent elsewhere.

What to do instead. Build genuine history and time your applications well (Course 2 · L10). Ask FundFoundr before paying for anything like this.

⚙ Check with FundFoundr first
Before opening new credit, paying any collection, or contacting any creditor or collector, check with FundFoundr first. What's right depends on your specific situation and what's currently happening on your file — we're here to help you time it correctly.
